I had dinner with a friend of a friend who was visiting Taiwan the other night. Halfway through the conversation, she said, "You know, Charlotte, I think I've read your blog before!"
Craziness, but it reminded me again of this huge Internet community we choose to take part in in varying measure.
In the last week this blog has had readers from Ohio, Texas, Massachusetts, New York, and Georgia...but as far as I know I don't know people in those places! Feel free to say hi btw...or maybe I'll meet you someday in Taiwan!

You don't know me, but I found your blog tonight and I wanted to thank you for your faithful service to the Lord in Taiwan. I go to Bible college in Iowa and I am getting my certificate in teaching English as a second language. I've been tutoring a Taiwanese girl named Rachel who just left to go back to Taipei. We talked a number of times about the Lord and the gospel, and she has become a good friend. I want to be a missionary and am willing to go wherever the Lord sends me. Maybe someday I'll be in Taiwan. Thank you again for your work there. Press on! In Christ, Elizabeth
